Walkin’ my A.S. Off for the Month of May

It’s May, and you know what that means? It’s time to join other spondys and spondy-supporters as all over the world we lace up our best walking shoes and head out on the town to spread awareness of ankylosing spondylitis.

It’s wild to think that one year ago, when the people, who now feel like one big family to me were walking, I had never even heard of this strange disease, even though I’d probably already had it for two decades.

ASbustersLogo2014-300x173I’ve got my step counter (Go Go Gadget Wristwatch!), and my team (The A.S. Busters of the Canadian Spondylitis Association). I’ve got friends, colleagues and family ready to join me on leisurely walks, hopefully enjoying some beautiful May weather.

Will you support me? I’m collecting donations this month for the Canadian Spondylitis Association. The pledge form is at the bottom of this post!

You can track my progress weekly on my Walk Your A.S. Off page.

And how about joining me for a walk? There’s so much of this great city to be seen on foot!

Sponsor Tema’s participation in May 2017’s Walk Your A.S. Off in support of spondylitis awareness and the Canadian Spondylitis Association. Tema will be in touch with you after the month of May to collect your donation or help you to arrange a donation to the Canadian Spondylitis Association directly!
